2/27/2016 0 Comments Vintage Train Depot Town SignI have been enamored with Vintage Railroad signs. Last month I painted a "Grand Central Station" sign that was very popular (click HERE to read post). I have now painted a town sign, the kind seen on a train depot as the train arrives. Here are some great samples: Although mine aren't as big as the ones on a train depot, they're big enough to place anywhere in your home and I assure you, it will stand out! As I researched a good picture of town signs on train depots I was amazed to find how popular vintage train station themed weddings are, google it and check them out. So, if you're planning a wedding I will be more than happy to make your signs, feel free to contact me by clicking HERE. 2/25/2016 0 Comments Fun with WatercolorI am so fascinated with watercolor. In my downtime this winter, I have enjoyed experimenting with it. I can spend hours studying watercolor paintings and video tutorials. I feel at times like I'm wasting time when I do that but then I think how else am I going to learn. Nothing is more fun than to grab a cup of tea and paint away, next thing I know it's time to cook dinner and call it a night. God is so good and I am so blessed I am able to "create" at my leisure, and in my jammies :)
This watercolor painting I painted on a 4x6 size paper (140 lb watercolor paper). I turned it into a thank you card for a friend who brought me some flowers. I don't have it in my possession any longer but I'm glad I took a picture of it. Geraniums, Hyacinths, and Pansies are my favorite to paint so you just may be seeing more paintings. Spring is just around the corner! Thanks for stopping by to visit.
