7/31/2016 0 Comments Little Teddy and the FrogsAn elderly woman proudly exclaimed a story to of how she used to go frog hunting with her brothers when she was a little girl. When I was a little girl, I lived no where near frogs, lakes or nature, instead I was surrounded by concrete sidewalks, thorny grass lawns and busy city streets. I just couldn't imagine going near a frog much less touch one. When I hear stories like this my mind starts to wonder about my father, a full blooded Native American from Northern Michigan and what he did when he was a young boy. I wouldn't doubt that he and his siblings hunted frogs so in this painting, this how I imagined him. This little Native American Indian boy's name is Teddy, hence the titled of this painting, "Little Teddy and the Frogs"
