Much to my dismay, you will notice ,many of my new wood signs are adorned with vinyl lettering. Vinyl lettering is a new way to make wood signs look more clean and pristine. Unfortunately, they tend to lose their rustic, vintage look. I will try to rectify that as I go along. Reason why, I have been diagnosed with tendinitis and carpal tunnel in my right hand/arm. Most likely due to over 20 years of computer typing as well as drawing and painting. Rehab will try to help and if it doesn't I will have to go under the knife :( I am able to create my vinyl letters with my laptop and the Cameo Silhouette, a cutting machine - see image below. It allows me to create my signs with ease and in a lot less time and pain. I'm hoping I won't need surgery but if I do, I pray my arm and hand will be 100% better but we won't worry about that until we have to.
I will continue to hand paint some signs all depending on how my hand/arm are doing. Until next time, Bev
